About

Good Morning!

About Myself

Hi! I’m Yun-Fan Wu (吳允藩), currently a UC Berkeley undergraduate student living in California. I was born in Taiwan and spent most of my childhood there. And then my family moved to Suzhou, China, where I spent approximately 11 years there. And then my family, once again, moved to California, US. I always find the cultural differences between the three places very intriguing, especially when it comes to education.

As an undergraduate student, I am majoring in Music and Molecular Cell Biology (probably going for neuroscience in the future). I want to major in Music because I have been in touch with music from a very young age (I have played the violin and piano since when I was 5), and I love listening to, playing, and composing music myself. I often think about how those musics influence our everyday lives and our behavior. As a result, I have developed an interest in molecular cell biology, particularly neuroscience, and cognitive science. It would be such an interesting subject to research if we can combine music and biology together, and that is what I aim to do (for now).

In my spare time, I compose music (you can find them here) and maintain this website. Other than that, I also write some posts about anything I can think about (go see my blog here!) and code some projects (go see my projects here!).
